Special Assistant for Project Management

Landscape Indonesia is seeking a highly motivated person to fill the position of Special Assistant for Project Management to assist the Senior Management in managing projects and ensuring that the company manages its deliverables properly and in time. The Special Assistant will work very closely with Project Managers to assist them with institutional support to fulfil their tasks and produce their deliverables. The Special Assistant may need to take up Project Managerial position for some newly-initiated projects. The Special Assistant will also assist the CEO and the business development team in responding to business opportunities.
The Scope of Work is as follows, although additional assignments may be defined as needed.
- Programmatically assisting the Senior Management and Project Managers in managing projects and producing deliverables within the availlable budgets;
- Programmatically assisting the Senior Management in responding to business opportunities, by project-managing proposal development, personnel and experts arrangements, and budget development;
- Assisting the Senior Management in providing institutional support to Project Managers and to the company.
- Assisting the Senior Management in their day-to-day managerial tasks.
Candidates must fulfil the following requirements:
- Motivated, professional, outgoing, highly organized, and strong confidence. A tad of environmental activistm is a good addition;
- S1 (undergraduate) degree with some years of project management experience or a fresh master's degree graduate. Working experiences as project manager in a consulting company or in an environmental project are preferred;
- Mastery of written and verbal English with no or minimum supervision;
- Have a strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Mastery in using common business softwares such as MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and some more.
- Mastery in using remote team coordination and project management tools such as Trello, Slack, and others, and ability to optimally use them in project management.
- Understand and are willing to learn more about Logical Framework and Theory of Change in designing, managing, and monitoring activities in project management;
- Understand and are willing to learn about contemporary environmental issues such as climate change, renewable energy, circular economy, forest conservation, landscape approach;
- Self-motivated and self-directing with minimum supervision.
