Where the work concentrates
An initiative is a body of work that crosses the group’s three subsidiaries and outlasts any single assignment.
Each one starts from a problem that cannot be solved inside one mandate: a fire season that is a land-governance failure as much as a weather event; a power market carrying four incompatible obligations; three national commitments competing for the same hectares. Advisory does the spatial and institutional analysis, Landscape Carbon builds and verifies the assets, LIFE structures the financing, and the Climate Collective takes the result to market.
They are listed here with the projects, programs and published analysis attached to each.
The Landscape Climate Collective
A membership-based organization established by The Landscape Group to advocate common market interests among project developers — offering carbon credits from a diverse portfolio of assessed, high-integrity projects rather than from any single one.
2026 Forest Fires
Measuring Indonesia’s 2026 fire season while it burns — hotspot counts, area burned, the health and fiscal bill, and what the record says about enforcement and peat condition.
Power Market Resilience
Reform work on Indonesia’s power market, where reliability, affordability, equity and decarbonization collide — including transition credits for the early retirement of coal-fired plants.
Nature-Based Resilience Growth for Post-Disaster Sumatera
Recovery in Aceh, North and West Sumatera that rebuilds the catchment as well as the settlement — restored upper-catchment forest, riparian buffers and coastal vegetation specified and financed as flood infrastructure.
Food, Fuel, and Forest (3F)
Achieving food and energy security while conserving and restoring forests — three national commitments competing for the same land, and the spatial and financing work that reconciles them.
Sustainability Executive MBA (STEMBA)
With the School of Business and Management, Institut Teknologi Bandung. Agus Sari co-founded the program and teaches in it — climate, carbon and sustainable business at the centre of general management.
