What Monitor 360 is
Monitor 360 follows the issues The Landscape Group works on as they unfold, and is updated as the news and the data change.
It has four parts: a weekly digest of news across the economy, the environment and the green transition; a monitor of carbon markets in Indonesia and globally; a running record of Indonesia’s 2026 fire season; and a scan of news on the road to COP31. Each is published without charge.
Our analysis is published separately, in the Landscape Outlooks 360 series of Outlooks and fact sheets.
Weekly 360
A weekly digest of news and recently published material, global and Indonesian, in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Entries are sorted into nine categories: economy, green economy, environment, climate change, forests, renewables, agriculture, waste and circular economy, and green industry, each split into global and Indonesian columns. Every entry links to its source.
Each edition opens with three summary boxes: the strategic topic of the moment, global developments and Indonesian developments. The page shows the past week; older entries move to the Earlier page, which can be searched.
Carbon Market 360
Monitoring carbon market development in Indonesia and globally.
It follows the rules that govern carbon units, the prices and volumes they trade at, project supply, the assurance that makes them credible, the buyers that retire them, and the regional and multilateral process, with global and Indonesian developments side by side and a summary at the top of each edition.
It is paired with our register of Indonesia’s carbon market regulations, from Perpres 110/2025 to the sector rules for forestry, agriculture and the exchange.
2026 Forest Fires
Tracking Indonesia’s 2026 fire season as it happens.
It records hotspot counts and area burned, where fire falls inside the conservation estate and carbon projects, and the health and economic bill, with the fact sheets we publish on the season.
It also hosts the three models we use to read the season and what follows it: ENSOID26-V2, CST26 and ENSONINAID26, which can be run in the browser.
COP31 360

It follows the negotiations and the Presidency’s Action Agenda, from global and Indonesian sources, with Indonesia’s delegation, positions and initiatives in its own column.
